The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad's recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it's rich history with me!

Is LeBron on the Lakers Rushmore, and Where Should He Go NOW?: A Discussion
I love the 04 Pistons. In my Top 5 champion teams, maybe. But the 17 Warriors with their ball movement and stellar shooting is a different animal
Jerry would have been great no matter the era. He had the mindset and ability. RIP to the logo, one of the baddest mofos to ever pick up a basketball
I was a huge Lakers fan growing up as a kid because of Kobe. I stopped rooting for them even before LeFraud showed up. But it’s truly embarrassing what the franchise has become since Jerry Buss passed away.
Dominique was FN AMAZING idk why he doesn’t receive more praise
His blocks record is so far away.
Damn bro u called it
the only thing I'd change is: remove Lebron, add Mikan
Did I see a pump fake hook shot without leaving the floor and pivot to his finger roll? Lbj showed kd something similar lol Wilt was 60 years ahead of time
this was my favorite Kobe season of all time. he gave it his absolute all and backpacked that team. truly inspiring stuff! I was really hoping for a Laker vs Heat finals before the season kicked off, it was finally time for the Kobe vs LeBron finals
Kings absolutely should have won that year. Damn joke and as with all sports a criminal enterprise (which is even worse now in ALL SPORTS DUE TO ONLINE BETTING)
He lived long enough to see the Lakers catch up to the Cs and in a final middle finger to Boston he said ✌🏼out just before they could take another lead. Thank you Mr. Clutch, you made my life as a basketball & Laker fan 11x more special than it would have been without you. #goat
Welp….
A true LEGEND of the game RIP
His impact is STAGGERING. Beautiful tribute.
18:35. Great editing, my guy! The two and a half minute highlights with the music is DOPE! MJ was so freaking phenomenal- even with just layups! Don’t know if it has a name, so I call it MJ’s signature windmill layups. Keep up the great work dude!
Rip Mr. Outside
And then celtics just won banner 18
When you include his greatness on both ends of the court, his coaching, and his GM accomplishments, you could make the case West had the greatest overall career in basketball ever. The only other person I can think of with similar greatness in every area of basketball is Bird. But as a GM, West had a much longer run and more success than Bird had. It's kinda crazy that a guy with West's track record, who's also the F'N NBA LOGO is that underrated by many modern fans. For all his successes, it seemed West had a tough life, and him being so tough on himself led to him not enjoying his accomplishments nearly as much as he should've. I hope he's at peace now--Jerry West R.I.P...
Yeah talk about pistol Pete
Tell your kid about the art
Prime I and Jabbar togher would be crazy any era
West gets disrespected by LA organization and Buss family while he most important Laker of all time. Along with Wilt, Baylor, and company made them constant contenders and knew he didn't want to coach so handed reigns to Riley. Drafted Showtime, reason Shaq came and finagled Bryant from Hornets. Buss owner that's all. West built Lakers. Proff he went to Memphis and built contender along with chips as consultant with Warriors. What other player has done that much
No.. no its not lol
greater than steph
NO TO JJ REDDICK! Get rid of LeBrain ASAP; find a new young path. I will never watch LeBrain ever play one more minute!
If greatness is measured relative to the competition of your era, he’s got to be one of the best shooting guards ever
I stopped watching the nba over a decade ago because I couldn’t stand watching another minute of LeBrain ruining BB! The Leakers need to tell LeBrain: “There’s the door, here’s a pink slip, you’re fired, your services are no longer needed in LAKER COUNTRY! DO NOT LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN YOUR BUTT!!” Wake up Leakers; LeBrain has ruined the nba and definitely the Leakers. It is time to find someone who is a normal person and not a petulant adolescent malignant narcissistic creep!
Longer than most of us have been alive? Longer than most of our parents have been alive!
Good job on the tribute. As a 33 year fan, feels weird he won’t be here. But I guess this is the way of things.
We all knew what #1 was gonna be
There is no greatest of all time Bill Russel won 11 but if we had a time machine and put Russel in 2024 no way he would get 11 rings. Russel maybe the greatest of his decade. . But same thing the Other way would Kevin Durant be as good in the 90's and 80's ? (i dont pick Lebron because of obvious bashing) KD can score in 2010/2024 but they would there hiss ass up in the 90's and 80's on defense can KD handle that mentaly and physical. Or would Shaq be even drafted in 2024?(probberly he still will) with such a bad 3 pointer and free throwshot and how is Shaq defense on the 3 point line? A fast Curry ,or any other fast 3point shooter would destroy Shaq on the 3 point line especially LA Shaq. or the transistion is LA Shaq fast enough ? And thats for the rule changes . If i have to pick a player who would be the ideal basketball player, the best body it would be Wilt Chamberlain That man was huge ,fast ,could jump like a mofo and strong as a OX Not that Wilt is the Goat because ,theres a lot of moves that a Wilt Chamberlain never seen in his career like the step back or the euro step. But i think he can adapt the most easy and with his size speed power and jump he dangerous in any era. -Like Wilt once sayd on a tv show: yall say Jordan is the best ,but on a 1on 1 Jordan vs prime Wilt how much money you want to bet on Jordan. -Another Example when he gave Orlando Shaq a hand on court he almost thore Shaqs arm off ..and you see Shaq watching that old man got power (and Wilt was in his 50's than) and i am from 1982 So i grew up in the Jordan era and no worry kids if you like Lebron you like Lebron....me and my father always had discussions who was beter Jordan or Docter J because he grew up with Docter J .that was his idool ....like Jordan is mine. I rather have the discussion is Lebron the best of his decade you can choose 2000/2010 ish or 2010ish /2024 best performace of Lebron is the Cleveland championchip when i watched that i got some Jordan vibes.... Like he almost turned super saiyan the hair was flikkering the eyes also.. I think what makes a great player is seeying when they transistion from being highflyers to more midrange shooters . because they get older ..Jordan had it Kobe had it and Lebron got it now. from dominant dunker to dominant shooter.
RIP 1 OF MY FAVORITE && MOST UNDERRATED PLAYERS EVER 💔💔WE LOVE TO TALK ABOUT "GIVING FLOWERS" WELL JERRY WEST WAS 1 PLAYER I HAD TO GIVE HIS FLOWERS WHILE HE WAS HERE 🙏🏾🙏🏾I WISH WE WOULDVE GOT MORE JERRY WEST INTERVIEWS & PODCASTS 💔💔
for some reason. if curry and bron teamed up in the lakers. they can do a re run of the west and baylor era
Superb video - coming from a Chicagoan who grew up watching Jordan 🥲
With only 8 team playing on the league, ofc he gonna have high average points
13:20 I would say he's on the mount Rushmore of the most influential person in NBA history. My top 4 would be West, Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, and David Stern, with Phil Jackson on the outside looking in. I honestly have Red above West, only because Red made the moves that allowed West (and the league) move forward. (Drafting the 1st black player, starting the 1st black player, hiring the 1st black coach.) That, with the 16 titles he helped the Celtics win (basically, all but 2 (let's be honest, the Celts are winning this year)) have Red's fingerprints all over it. And honestly, it took tragedies in Len Bias and Reggie Lewis both dying to stop the Celtics forward movement. But anyone having West for the just the variety of teams he helped wouldn't be a ludicrous position to take.
First one of these ill have to dislike. Looking forward to the next tho!
Jerry West built the Lakers for decades. LeBron tore it down in half a decade
You make historic NBA videos like nobody else, man. Ive learned so much about what makes our game so special. RIP Jerry, and thankyou Johnny for keeping that era alive.
This whole video encompasses why it's a tragedy that the NBA, to this day, still doesn't recognize Jerry West as the official logo of the NBA. Outstanding career from both inside the court and off of it, and that's still a major understatement. R.I.P. Logo
The mastermind behind so many great things that have happened in the NBA. Rest In Paradise, Mr. West.
Minnesota Lakers. Trump gave West his medal of Freedom.
Top 10 player OAT and the GOAT PG. It's insane how underrated this man's career is
Awesome dedication video, Jonny. Travel In Peace, Mr. West 🕊
West created the Shaq and Kobe Lakers. And the showtime lakers. There is no Lakers without Jerry West
I think of Baron Davis and John Wall when I think of future forgotten players (altho Baron Davis is kinda forgotten)
8:40 LeBron already cries in this nba though
Tatum don't deserve to win a ring, if boston wins this cuz the unicorn played game 1 and holiday played the first 3 games and JB & white perform as champs
The man, the myth, the LOGO.
#LongLiveTheLogo
